It actually works pretty well without the touchscreen. You just use the scroll wheel to go from icon to icon, exactly the same as using Google Maps through Android Auto.

Completely agree. Have been using Waze in my 2017 A4 and not bad at all. Once you are used to scrolling, it gets used to fairly easily.

Sorry to rez this old thread, but has anyone noticed that reporting an incident has become more difficult with waze?

You click report incident icon, then you need to scroll left with the rotary **** a few times before any of the icons are highlighted. Has anyone noticed this?

Yes, it is not that fluid. Also, it's often difficult to see what icon has been selected because the contrast is so subtle.
