Any way to detect your phone is still in the car?
Hi,
I have a 2017 a4 technik - and was wondering if there is any way for the car to send an audible beep or some app on an iPhone that can detect if you still have the phone plugged into the usb slot of the car when you shut the car off? I've left my phone in my car a number of times because I forget it's in the console between the 2 front seats and was hoping there was something that reminds you about it.
Thanks

I often leave mine in the car if I'm just running into a store quickly. Each time I shut the car down, I get an audible warning that my phone is still in the car.

Maybe time for an MMI update?

Correct, and Audi would not update, while i wish for the latest update, i discover the 19 VC had lower resolution for Google earth with higher refresh rate than the 17 and 18's, Have mix feeling about updates since they dich Street View on 17's

So there is no way to update the MMI software to get access to that feature?

Which market are you in? My Canada-spec car was built in May 2016 (delivered early July 2016) and it definitely has that option... and it defaults to on...
