On the first weekend drive to State park in MN onboard navigation tried hard to push me use unpaved roads (however next turn would be paved). It happened couple times on this drive.

Looks like there are only option to avoid Highways in settings.
Any ideas?

There should be options for Short, Fast and Mixed(?) only in the Nav Settings. The nav cannot determine dirt roads although in the Fast setting it usually keeps you on secondary roads and not minor streets unless there's no other reasonable choice.

So late. Only sedan....
