Hello,

I'm a new member and I have coded traffic sign recognition in my A4 B9 with VAG CAN PRO and it's working perfect, I can't find anywhere the coding for getting it showing in the HUD.

Sorry for this, I have coded "Traffic Sign Recognition" in "Virtual Cockpit" and it's not showing in the "Head-Up Display", and I cannot find the coding for this anywhere.....

How did you code it in in the first place? No HUD here, I’d just like to code in traffic sign recognition but I thought it could not be done.

Hi gguy,

You need to have VCDS from Ross-Tech or VAG CAN from VagTech or OBDEleven and of cause the front camera for Audi Pre Sense, I don't if this standard equipment in the US....

Select Vehicle Menu Operation-menu_display_road_sign_identification -> Adjust value to enabled

Byte 1 -> enable bit 0

Note: For newer cameras, this applies instead: Byte 16 -> Bit 4

Which location / market are you in? Maybe this coding only works for some countries.

I'm in France...this is working in my A4 2.0 TFSI Quatro from 2016, you need the front camera in windscrren mirror (STG A5 Front Camera) this is standard equipment in Europe I don't know about US....

Sorry I won’t be able to help with getting VZE on HUD.

The US cars doesn’t seem to be able to get this work work. But I have a ROW car and keen to find out if this works. Do you mind sharing your A5 module Long code and adaptions?
Did you change byte 1 or 16?
