As others have mentioned, my single largest aggravation is the rear deck rattle. It is really, REALLY bad. Car is going in on Monday over it, because I can't even have my volume at 20% without getting tons of distortion coming from that area.

I'm only 2 days in, but to me it depends what you compare it to. Yes, it's better than in my previous cars (M5, A6, S4, 328, etc.), but sucks compared to even my backup system at home. There are just space and cost constraints, plus sat radio/mps sources, that will make any OEM audio like that - I'll live with it

Over 2 years in and I still love it!

Those that don’t like it, I really want to know what cars you were driving before because it sounds better than plenty of Mercedes, Porsche, Toyota, Honda, Infiniti I’ve driven

Sounds amazing to me, then again I am coming from a Honda Accord 2010 which did not have the best stereo (speaks sounded like they were blown at times)

I agree. Though the Porsche burmester system sounds good. And the bowers and Wilkins in the s60 is insane! But otherwise yes. For a system that costs <$1000 (I forgot how much the BO cost), it is really amazing. Obviously it isn’t exemplary but yes.

After moving away from FM/SXM radio and putting some 24/96 and 5.1 FLAC files on an SD card, I'm much happier with it. I bought mine used, but for what Audi shows as a $950 cost, I'd say it's well worth it.
I guess judging by what's reported to be compressed 50kbps/32kHz isn't the best idea.

I'm disappointed to be honest. It seems to come into its own a bit when the volume is turned up past the point you can have any type of conversation with a passenger. At lower volume levels it's completely gutless. I've spent time making adjustments with the help of some forum member suggestions. It's now acceptable, but far from what you would think it should be with as many speakers as it has. I was given a Q5 with the base stereo as a loaner not long ago, and I was shocked at how much better it sounded than the B&O system.

Friends don't let friends listen to Sirius/XM. XM is fine on crap sound systems but its true colors are very apparent on anything decent.
B&O? Love it,
Love how the sub is separate from the treble and bass (though more EQ adjustment would be welcomed) so when the dogs are in the back I can kill the sub. Google Music Service is perfectly integrated into the MMI and the system wails. Could you do better with an aftermarket system? Of course, but not for under $900 and you are going to loose some serious storage space which isn't an option for me.
