Great thread. The JB4 for the A4 2.0T will release this week and I will be making a general user thread outlining the unit and covering the queries about the unit that have been asked here.

Hyper, where did you put the JB4 box... I am guessing under the hood in the compartment on the driver side where the brake fluid res is located? If so, how did you route the wires the other way to the engine?

Hey, sorry I just saw this post. Hopefully you can see in the install instructions where everything goes. If you need more assistance I can take pictures for you. Several of my pictures I took during my install were used for the install instructions.

Do you have some pictures on how you route it around the door frame? Like where do you route it from? How visible is it? Does it caught between the door frame when closing?

I might start there then then make a custom harness to avoid taps and cleaner install
I wanted to do this (JB4 without ODB hooked up) but George from BMS said it's not recommended. Waiting for his reply to see what side effects there are in doing so.

I dont as that is not the optimal way to install this. I did it per the actual install instructions(majority of the pictures used are the ones I took during my install).

I've been trying to place the in module in a place where it's not exposed to the elements and heat as much in the engine bay. I too have the 034 intake and I stuffed between there and the AC coolant lines..

Can you give us a pic of where you placed your Jb module?

As per the instructions, I have it placed in the little cubby with the 3 tabs on it below the window. Its in a protected area away from the elements and between both firewalls.
