3) 2017 Audi A4 Technik with a couple of cosmetic options (color, dash trim)
4) ~11% including the $1500 credit Audi was offered.
5) Only taken it in for 1st service. Overall service wasn't poor but had an issue that forced me to return to rectify.
I'm assuming you got this deal early 2017? I'm trying to find any leftover MY17. Downtown Audi does not have an inventory search on their site.

Margin on the A4/Allroad is universally reported to be 8%, so if you did 11% including that Audi Canada incentive, then you got the car at (or slightly below) invoice, which is a great deal!
It's on everything including all the additional things dealers tack on and the extended wear package (I opted against the service package). I took total out-the-door cost divided by total fully loaded price.

Yeah it worked to be slightly below invoice. I know what the dealers make above and over invoice so I wasn't going to walk out for anything invoice or above.

I got it late in last quarter of calendar 2017 (not sure when the B9 launched) and went into the dealership near the end of the month (something like the 27th or 28th of the month)

That makes sense. There's a lot more margin in add-ons and service/protection packages, so that explains your discount.

1) Where did you buy your car?
Midtown Audi in Toronto.

2) How was the buying experience?
Great experience, no pressure. Nice showroom plenty of opportunity for test drive.

3) What exactly did you buy?
2017 Audi A4 2.0T Progressive Quattro 7SP S Tronic, S Line Sport Package, Daytona Grey Pearl Metallic

4) What kind of discount were you able to get (as a % under MSRP)?
MSRP: $50,140
Discount: $2,507 (= 5%)

I would add here that in addition to the discount, Midtown Audi was also very competitive on the Trade in. Offered me 10% more on it then another Audi Dealership further north.

Last but not least is was during one of their private sales events, which I guess are used to empty out old inventory.

5) How has your service experience been so far?
Just bought in May, haven't serviced it so far but will likely service it at a different dealership closer to home or work.

Thanks to everyone who has submitted data! Here's a summary of what has been shared to date. Sorry for the format; I'll look at posting a Google Drive doc for the next update.

I emailed a few dealers in Toronto and asked for any MY17 and all they have left a some Progressiv and only very very limited Technik. But the Technik are almost full loaded...MSRP of around 62K+
I guess my MY17 hunt is over lol
How do you guys feel of driving a demo car?

Just an update - didn't pick up a demo MY17 but went for a MY18 instead.

1) Where did you buy your car?
A4 Technik with S-Line Black package in Ibis White

2) How was the buying experience?
Very relaxed and chill - brought our own spreadsheet and matched almost what the dealers had on their computer (roughly 15 cents off from any calculations)

3) What exactly did you buy?
Uptown Audi

4) What kind of discount were you able to get (as a % under MSRP)?
Roughly 7.24% discount. Final MSRP is $50,339

5) How has your service experience been so far?
Hopefully it will be good
