Default Center Dash Speaker Grill Removal

I'm having issues with the center speaker buzzing again, and I believe it's the cover making the sound. I had the dealer add felt tape last time my car was there, but maybe they did a half-*** job or so since it's still buzzing, and I really don't want to go out of my way again to take the car back yet again (I've spent more time driving the car to the dealer and leaving it there than driving and enjoying it).

Anyways, I know there are a couple threads on the subject already, but I haven't been able to find any help on how that grill piece is removed. Does anyone know? I'd like to pop it off and add more felt tape, make sure all screws are tight, etc. myself.

Thanks in advance.

The center speaker grill is held in by clips. You should be able to remove it with trim removal tool

Cool! Where did you get hold of that technical explanation? I'd love to get some details about removing some other prim parts. Do you have access to them?

Specifically, I'm looking into the large trim pice below the vents across the entire dashboard, and matching piece surrounding the headlight switch.

You need to pay for this service with a subscription or a 1 day pass.

Hi, new member from the UK here. I'm trying to remove the center speaker and so far I managed to remove the grill (without breaking any tabs!) thanks to the really useful instructions from ekyp. To get at the speaker it seems I need to remove the whole plastic piece that the grill clips into.

Anyone know how to go about this? I assume it clips in, but it seems pretty tight....

Thanks!
