Default Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) but in an Accident?

Hey all,

I'm looking at a 2017 A4 Prestige that is a certified pre-owned. However, looking at the Carfax, this car has been in an accident before. Is this a concern? I understand Audi's CPO program to be fairly robust. See here for the Carfax:

https://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistor...FNAF42HN014067

FWIW, the dealer is asking for $42,997.

Any thoughts overall?

Thanks.

Says on the CF..."disabling damage and towed". I, for one would never buy anything in an accident. It was bad enough that it had to be towed so not just a parking lot accident. Your call but the Audi CPO only looks at the mechanics of the car...not the frame, repainting or body damage.

I haven't asked for the CPO report yet, but according to the checklist, they do confirm no frame damage on the undercarriage.

Good luck with your decision...I, for one, would not buy it.

Pass. As was said, if the car was towed, the damage wasn't minor. Plenty of other cars to choose from if patient.
