Clean exhaust/tailpipe tip
With 31K on my car I've notice the tips are relatively clean, when I swipe my fingers in the tip opening,
Does this means little or no carbon build-up? Good gasoline grade? Good oil Viscosity? A healthy engine? all of the above or something else?

We hope it's an indication of not consuming any oil.

I had a B8.5 A4 before my current B9 and the tips on the B8.5 definitely got a lot more carbon build up than the B9 does. Not sure if its something different in how the engine is. I wonder if the carbon build up on the valves will be any better as well. I was cleaning completely black tips once a week with my B8.5, but with my B9 I am just cleaning dirt now. Also my driving style hasn't changed with the different car. Still the same commute to work and the same running around town.
