Clicking/trigger sound when starting to drive
My new A4 (see sig for exact model) makes a clicking/trigger sound (emanating from somewhere above the pedal area) a few moments after shifting into Drive and moving forward. Is this expected behavior? Everything else is fine with the car.

Lol. This topic has been beaten to death and then some more. It is absolutely normal. It happens at 25mph. It is the ABS priming. And idk about the others but I think the intensity of the sound has reduced as I've put on miles on her. Or maybe it is just me getting used to it.

That's good to hear KevinB656. Another question that springs to mind is: why do we need to hear the anti-lock braking system priming in the first place? All the other cars I've ever driven have never produced an audible sound when the system primes (including a B6 A4). What's different about these B9 A4s?

No idea why our A4s make that noise. My A7 doesn't have it. But the new Q7s have it supposedly. So I'm guessing it has something to do with the new platform? New parts maybe?
