Coding - Traffic Sign Recognition
 

I'm wondering if anybody has been able to turn on Traffic Sign Recognition using the OBDEleven? That would be amazing, but maybe you need additional hardware?

Also, thanks a ton to Mitchfin and all the other contributors for figuring out the coding and sharing! I was able to turn on Active Lane Assist, turn off the seat belt chime, add the gear indicator to the dash, and a few other gems thanks to all of you. You guys/gals are awesome!

Really, there are a lot of threads about this. Search and I think you'll get some good answers.

Mitchfin spent a lot of time trying to figure out the coding and couldn't get it. At this point, I think he has given up and I have heard of no one else who has even worked on it.

Thanks Kevin. I was able to use the coding from another forum and get the TSR to pop up in my VC, but it doesn't recognize the signs. There was a mention of a camera parameterization file needed for it to work.

Well, still the coding has been a great success! Thanks for the update.

I haven't tried the parameter data for the camera, but I have it from ODIS. I'm planning on visiting Mitchfin soon to try and get his car to work.
