Coding for turning on Audi Active Lane Assist (all cars with pre sense)

Would be amazing if you could set the customizable star key on the steering wheel to act as the on/off button for lane assist.
But I believe that's simply wishful thinking. Meanwhile you can still temporarily turn it off by turning off ESP/ESC.

Guys - got in the A4 this AM to drive to work, hit 40 and immediately noticed the ALA is not working. I coded this about 3 months ago and it has been working great since. It was working yesterday afternoon when I was out running around.
All of the settings are still in the MMI, traction control is not turned off, everything looks right except I don't see the two lane markers either side of the cruise control icon in the VC. Also when you scroll to the larger driver assist graphic in the VC the lane lines (that are either gray or green depending on ALA status) have become narrow gray lines as opposed to the wide gray lines that would be there if you were stopped or not doing 40mph...
Any ideas what might have happened?

Switch-on condition, lane depart. warn. = Set value to “On” had been set to off (or deactivated, can't remember which)
Since I had not been in there and didn't change the setting, I am surmising that something I did in the MMI, in the VC, on the dash, or on the steering wheel/ column turned it off? I just have no idea what.
Anyway, since there have been no replies I am guessing it hasn't happened to anyone else.... but putting it here in case it does.

Did you install any updates? I read of several cases where people claimed that even after map updates some of their settings in the MMI were messed up or that certain codings stopped working.
