Default Complete power loss update

So the car is at dealer they tried to blame on cheap gas. But I always fill premium fuel and further testing revealed a misfire.
they are now keeping the car over night to see do more testing.
Itís was some sort of failure. And a potentially deadly failure.
Anyone else have a similar occurrence?

Do you have a link to the original story if this is an update?

Ahh ok. The only time I ever had symptoms like that with the error light youre describing, is when a coil pack went bad on my 04 A4. They went bad so often, I carried extra coilpacks in the trunk. Not saying this is the cause of your scenario, just very similar.

so far I asked the technician if there where any codes he said ďYESĒ in a caps so I think itís serious.
they are still testing the car, donít know if itís wise to keep it past warranty.
Most likely a p0300 code
hopefully I get the car and paperwork today evening.

Hope they get it fixed.

Given it happened right after filling up, "Bad" gas is a possibility.

The dreaded "sporadic, non-reproducable, no error codes" problem. I can understand why they just throw parts/potential solutions at it, but it doesn't give you a good feeling driving your car afterwards.

I would probably ask them to at least replace the plug/coil, and wiring, from cylinder 2 rather than just moving them around.

Ehh I have accepted what kind of service Audi provides it isnít like Mercedes or bmw itís like being in a VW shop. If it happens next time Iíll have it towed to the nearest dealer and use the loaner to complete my trips. And pick it up on the way back lol.
surprised for a 2 year old car to give issues.
