Default Dealer reaction OBDeleven changes at maintenance intervals?

What has been the experience of OBDeleven users when they bring their cars in for service? Does the dealer return the car to factory settings?

I’ve had my car at the dealer 7 times between services and issues and not once has any setting been changed. There’s a chance an adaptation might be overwritten if that module is getting a firmware upgrade, but that should be noted in the work documents.

Im also lucky that my dealership is mod friendly. They don’t even care if I leave my JB4 plugged in as long as it’s in passthrough mode.

^ This. Only once in a blue moon did I lose something I set in OBD11/VAG because a module was updated. Otherwise, they really dont care or touch anything.

I've definitely had a few mods defaulted back to original settings when the car was at the dealer. I'm sure it was because of updates they had performed. Nothing intentional on their part.
