My last dealer warranty oil change sent me out the door with a 1qt over fill. The oil was still dirty so I suspect an incomplete extraction. I just did my self 5k change and the oil filter was significantly over torqued.

So easy on the A4 I can do it myself without getting my hands dirty in less time than driving to the dealer and back.
What do you use to pump out the oil? And what do you do with the bad oil you take out?

There are plenty of oil extractors on the market; Google them. I put the used oil back in the empty containers. In my state, you can take the used oil back to any store that sells oil (even Walmart). I take mine back to a local store called Pep Boys, leave the containers on the counter, and leave. Never any problem. Same thing with Walmart.

What tasks do you do with the Jack? I hope I don't need a jack till at least 5 years with the car.

I have several other cars and do routine maintence on my kids cars.

It will make summer to winter tire changes easier on the Audi. Other work become more pratical since there are not many options to place jack stands under the A4.

I think Bob and I were questioning the safety of the QuickJack. I'm sure it could easily lift a Cadillac Escalade, but it looks pretty flimsy. Not something I'd want to get underneath.

QuikJack has been around for a while and have a good record. I've seen them in use at the track and they are very stable..

Personally I always overkill safety if I am going to be under a vehicle - I would still have ramps/blocks supporting the tires or jack stands under the car if I am physically under it
