Driver Foot Rest -- Any way to remove?
Hey all, wondering if anyone has the same experience I am -- it feels like the driver's footrest is a little close for my liking. In other vehicles, including a leased Q50 I had before purchasing the A4, I felt like there was more room to "stretch out" your left leg, whereas now, I feel that it's always a more sport oriented seating position.
That said, has anyone tried removing/modifying a footrest in this position before? I'd imagine it would likely include some cutting into plastic trim, but I'm really unsure about what all might be housed behind it. Any insight on this is welcome, thanks!
