Hi Jason,

I am a novice to ECS tuning and would like to know how this will affect engine life. The HP/Torque increase is impressive but wonder how will it affect the engine and car overall that was't design for that degree of power?

Thanks in advance.

APR tunes require no additional support. The engine is calibrated in such a way so that this software will not damage internals or other areas of the engine.

Thanks this is definitely something I am going to get.

I am surprised on this audi forum nobody else is commenting what an achievement this apr tune is.

I've had it for a few days now, it's is wicked, it is so instantly fast it's like S4 fast (B8.5).

So how does this work exactly?

You can increase the horsepower from software alone?

Seth Fiermonti 08-18-2016 03:29 AM

What does it do to MPGs?

Good question. There is obviously some reason that Audi does not tune their engine this way from the factory. I'm sure they are smart enough to know how to turn their own engine. So then what is the down side of doing this tune and why did Audi not sell it like this from the factory?
