Default Emergency Call Malfunction

Has anyone else gotten this error. It will show up and then disappear a few seconds later. Does it randomly.

Nope. Haven't gotten an error yet after that one time with the start stop thing. Did you do a scan using an obd device to check if any error code was present?

I had this happen on my Q7 on a few occasions. At first it was intermittent. A few times over a span of a month, and then it went on every time I started car. The actual part that they changed was 8W6-907-468 and the only word on the sheet says INTERFACE.

It's nice that Audi take the customers word and changes parts. Other dealerships I've been to either need to see it or need proof!! Or there's nothing wrong according to them.

Why don't you take it in to the dealer and get it fixed?

Default Emergency Call Mulfunction (2017 Q7)

My new Q7 had the same problem less than 12 hours after collecting my car from the dealer somewhere mid January 2017. I had to send it in for 1.5 weeks to change the coaxial and antenna. Unfortunately the problem came back after a few days and I have to send it back to the dealer again.
I have the feeling that Audi have no idea what is causing the error on the emergency call. Had you managed to get your emergency call malfunction issues resolved?

I have this same issue as well. I suppose I'll take it to the dealer and see what they have to say.
