Has anybody successfully enabled VIM using Hex-Net on the new 2017 A4 MMI? Just picked up the hex-net hardware and am looking for some direction. Thanks in advance for any insights.

Not possible with HEX-NET at this time, login code and details are not public, VAG CAN PRO does support it on the MLBevo platform in the A4 8W though, also disables nag screen for nav etc while in motion.

Thanks so much for the info. So the A4 8W is the US model? What is the B9 designation?

Both are for the new A4, B9 means that it's the 9th generation of the B model line (A3 is A, A6 is C, A8 is D), 8W is the type (most parts in the B9 have a part number starting with 8W, A4 B8 was 8K, A4 B6/B7 was 8E)

I enabled it via OBDeleven.

VAG CAN PRO (VCP) and OBDeleven can enable VIM, VCDS cannot at tis time.
