Default Wow

Anyone try the S4 style?

Im guessing you can't have the dial in the center with nav/radio/phone on the sides???

And why no numbers on the speedometer?

I am guessing because the RS4 dial does not have the numbers on the speedometer.

I haven't tried this, and have no plans to do so, but in the S4 there is an option to switch to the two-gauge A4 style display with center info tab. I forgot where it's buried in the menus, but presumably you would have to perform the process backwards to get to the center one gauge style. It's buried somewhere in the VC display options (not the main MMI) as far as I recall. My S4 has it so the RS4 probably has it, too.

Worked perfectly in my A4, was able to do it in under 5 minutes. Thanks so much for the info. If anyone knows how to get the center speedometer or has any theories I would be willing to try them out.

Yep...just verified the A4 displays it the same way. Large view has the numbers, small view does not for the speedometer.

If you can’t get the single view, then what’s the benefit of changing it?

Here's how it's done in the S4/S5:

Applies to: vehicles with sport view

- Setting the default view: depending on the vehicle

equipment, you can choose between the

classic and sport view. Select on the multifunction

steering wheel: left control button> Layout

> Sport layout or Classic layout .
You have to have the Audi rings tab selected, the car has to be stopped, and it takes a few seconds to switch into the sport layout.
