Had a similar experience on my B8 S4. Had 2 crash cams that had Bluetooth connections, but the connections weren't in use. Took the car in after one week, and had to pay for 3 shop hours while car was plugged into the diagnostic computer to discover a lot of minor glitches were coming from the cameras interfering with MMI. On my B9, calls were getting muted, not disconnected, though MMI showed "no phone connected;" birdseye cam was switching off, and some other strange stuff like the phone directory losing entries. Got text and email about 5% of the time.

Audi has a webpage that shows all compatible phones, and mine is one. But after one hour of free shop diagnostics time, shop foreman says it's my phone.

New phone arrived 2 days ago and all problems are (mostly) gone. Now if I could only figure out how to input a 3 stop navigation route...
