Issue with a MMI setting.
 

Hello everyone, I've got A4 S-line 2017. (Let me know if you need additional information.)

I stream music from my phone and it's always playlists, so I want them in order as on my phone, thus I have never enabled the "random play" option within the MMI itself - even if I needed it, I'd still do it through my phone.

Recently, whenever I start my car, the "Random play" option will be turned on in the MMI. I turn it off but it will be on again next time I start the car. It messes up everything, including showing wrong song names later on even when I turn it off. It's been like that for a month or so at least. As I said, I have never touched it in the first place.

I'm quite computer savvy so please let me know if you know anything about this problem and even if the process to fix it requires some advanced stuff (I don't know, updating MMI software), let me know what you think.

Try resetting the MMI. Literally the only thing I know to do lmao. Press the two silver buttons (NAV/PHONE?) beside the big circle wheel. While pushing both of them up, click on the circle wheel and it will reset. Hopefully that fixes it.
