H&R Sport springs installed, along with Emmanuele Design rear sway bar and ECS spacers (10mm front, 12.5mm rear):

Sorry for the poor photo quality. :/

It looks and handles SO much better, and the ride quality is excellent, even with the factory struts. I'm quite happy with it.

Well. I did word that wrong. What I meant was coilovers are new springs and new shocks that are paired to work together. They are significantly more expensive too. Good thing about coilovers is that they are adjustable. Unlike lowering springs or sport shocks.
And yes. They are better since you don't run the risk of blowing stock struts. With lowering springs, there is a slight risk but the risk mainly involves struts that have already done quite a bit of running duty. With lowering springs, struts should last atleast 40-50k, if not more. I have read threads where people have done 70k miles and are still running lowering springs without problems.

Are there any vibrations with the spacer? Can you post some side shots from near the front and rear head and tailights to show how much the wheels now stick out?

i recall seeing a change in diameter of struts for b9's produced after 7/16

the problem is my production date states 7/16.

can someone confirm which set of coilovers i should be getting? coilovers with production date pre 7/16 or post 7/16?

Tires with 20 inch wheels are the same height as tires with 19 or 18 inch wheels.

19 inch wheels on tires are not taller than 18.

Same height.

These say they lower base suspension by 2.0 inches. That seems extreme. I don't see how that is possible and retain stock ride quality. I wouldn't expect it to, except that they say that it does.

But at 2.0 inches, ground clearance becomes a concern also. I wish there was a good ~1.2 inch solution.

Unless you buy tires that make the combination taller. It would not be my approach, but it certainly can be done.

for everyone that has done springs with non sport suspension do you have any reverse rake? my fear is to order springs, pay to have them installed and the rear sags more than the front.. coilovers would be an option to stop that, but the price is alot more..
