Noise from central panel, anyone ?
I have B9 A4 2.0TDI 190ps quatro 7 speed automatic and recently my car developed a lot of noise ( rattles ) from central part that goes around A/C screen. There are also squeaks from all 4 doors from plastic parts next to a door handle and from the whole trim in general but it is something that i can live with but this central part is making me crazy! Does anyone else have this sound? Any solutions? Rattles go away when u press that trim and comes back when u release pressure from it. I also wanted to ask if someone know how to remove that aluminium trim so i could try and fix it my self. Video how to remove it would be amazing
This is link to a youtube video that i have found that represent the noise that i have. In person this sound is much louder than on youtube.
In general i am very disappointed with Audi's quality. This is 50k+ EUR car with low miles on it and already has a ton of squeaks and not to mention that fuel sloshing noise from the trunk area. I cant shake off that feeling that i bought premium brand, expensive car, and that basically i got nothing more than a 20k eur car! In fact i had much cheaper cars than this Audi, with a lot of miles on them and none of them had this amount of squeaks and rattles.
