Pre-sense malfunction
I keep getting a waning that says Pre-sense Malfunction Contact Service. Comes up about 8 to 10 mins. been to the dealer service three time, last time for a week. Last they replace the passenger air bag module. Five miles after leaving the dealer it started happening again. Dropping it off again Monday. Anyone else experience this.

Didn't you just post this in the Pre-Sense thread??? No need to duplicate the same things in multiple threads. People will see what you wrote, and if they have a response, they will reply.

Same problem
Having the same issue. Dealership was absolutely no help. Basically said “it’s not a perfect system “ and to ignore it and hope for a software update because the sensors all test ok. If your dealership is able to find a fix please let me know.
P.S. Post in as many forums as you think you need to just because someone calls themselves “securityguy” doesn’t mean they are actually the internet police.

Same issue
Were you able to resolve this? I am going through the same exact thing, actually turned back to the dealership four times in the same day because of this issue and they are still unable to solve it. My concern is that the car could possibly stop abruptly if presents malfunctioning, hope this is not a possibility of course.
Any feedback would be so helpful especially because I could let the dealership know.

I get this warning about once a month. I mentioned it during a service appointment and essentially the tech noted that it was triggering simply because of the way I driving (likely getting to close to other cars) and that it would clear itself after a couple minutes of normal driving conditions.

I’m not sure if I find this to be a valid explanation because it turned on exactly so many minutes into my drive so I don’t think it has anything to do with being too close to a car

Q5 with same issue
My 2021 Q5 began throwing this malfunction warning at about 6300 miles. Finally took it in and got a similar reaction, no fix. I got the warning on the drive home and turned off pre sense. After turning it back on, no warning so far. I'll keep you posted.
