Problems with range
First time poster, long time lurker...
I picked up an A4 s-Line in January, liking the car but it seems to suffer form
A few issues, I wonder if anybody else is suffering the same?
1, The Bluetooth was initially terrible, phone often would not connect and calls/music would be so distorted they could not be heard, eventually Audi agreed to change the Bluetooth module, which at least seems to have solved the issues with the phone connected at all, but the call quality and streaming music is still choppy, especially when in my pocket (I have tried with several different brand phones). Anybody else having this issue?
2, The keybob remote unlock range is terrible, not too bad for the back of the vehicle, but from the front I would say I need to be a metre from the car before it will lock/unlock, particularly annoying when walking away and trying to lock it. When reported to the dealer as they were changing the Bluetooth I was told "wel if yours is wrong they must all be wrong because they are all like that" surely not...
A little disappointing so far after switching from Mercedes, I know you can get faults with any car but they seem quite dismissive of "trivial issues" as I drive a lot for work, lack of useable Bluetooth is a real problem for me
sorry to drone on but hopefully other b9 owners can confirm this isn't the norm.Cheers, Matt.

I can't comment on the keyfob as I usually open and lock the door from the handle.
I use the door handles for locking and unlocking and rarely use the key fob. I do use the key fob to open all windows and sunroof to let hot air out and it does seem like I need to be pretty close for that to work.

I usually just lock/unlock from the handle as well, so I didn't notice this was an issue until I needed to lock/unlock the car for my friend when standing across the street. It would work until I was halfway across the crosswalk.
Bringing Audi to Life for Audi Fans
Apparently there is some sort of cover art database within the MMI system. It definitely is not getting it from my music files, because in more than one case, the cover art differed from what it displays on my iPhone. For example, a song that shows the "best of..." album cover art on my iPhone now shows the original album cover art on the MMI.
That's a cool feature and means you don't need artwork attached to your files, you just need the songs and artists metadata to be correct.

Cheers.
