Rain Setting Off Alarm
2017 A4 Sport model 62 000 miles. In the past, I have had a problem with flashers being activated when parked outdoors in heavy rain. I usually have the car in the garage at night.
Tonight, at 3AM (of course), the car was parked outside, locked, in a heavy rain and the alarm started going off. I unlocked with the key fob, the lights came on and the alarm stopped. I locked again using the key fob and it stopped.
For 30 seconds. Then it went off again. And again.
I finally moved a few cars and put the Audi in the garage, which has stopped this behavior. For now.
It is a US model purchased in January 2017 as a CPO with 4200 miles, and, no, there is not a button on the B pillar to disable the motion sensor.
I would love to be able to turn off the alarm.

Thanks. I'm holding the TSB in my hot little hand. It was issued May 25, 2017, and for anyone else with this issue, the number is 96 17 15 2045767/4. The vehicle needs a software update to fix the problem.

When your car is alarming in heavy rain, how do you stop it?
And, the TSB says the sequence is triggered when a key is not in proximity to the vehicle. Would leaving a key in the vehicle stop this behavior?
