Rear Coil Spring
 

The left rear coil is broken. The car has 97000 km and never carries four passengers or heavy cargo. This seems unusual. Where can I source aftermarket springs?

Not so unusual. For me, at least. One of my rear springs broke at 40K-ish. I have the sport plus package; opted to go OEM but through an indie shop.

Just a couple of months ago, replaced rear springs on daughter's 2017 Mazda3 because of one broken spring.

Anyway, I'm interested to see if there's an aftermarket you can use for A4 rears. I'd imagine if you go with an aftermarket setup you might have to replace all of them?

Yeah, rear springs seem to be a "more than normal" problem with the B9 vehicles. Though seen it get posted about more for the Q5 than the A4/A5.

Thanks for the info. It seems that my spring problem is not unusual. My local dealer in a small market has these in stock, likely disclosing a common problem.
