Satellite view keeps defaulting back to regular map
 

Cross posting this to see if any of you guys are having the same issue, and if you've found any resolution?

My 17 does it, had a 19 rental and it didn't do it.

I have a '19 S4 and it does it :(

My ‘17 never once defaulted to regular maps when I had satellite on. It worked perfectly till the Audi connect thing expired. Haven’t renewed it after that.

I was literally going to post this today. It does it probably half the time and it’s annoying.

Is your Audi Connect still valid? Or has it expired? My subscription is brand new so there shouldn't be an issue with it. It's so annoying. Like literally every other time I start the car it goes back to the standard maps (doesn't revert back if I leave it either).

I Misunderstood the question, (respond to satellite/regular map reverting back to information view on startup) Yes my Google earth sometimes revert back to regular map on startup. I've also notice the MY19 has satellite view whereas the MY17 came and still uses Google earth.

What's the difference between the '17 Google Earth and the '19 Satellite view? Satellite view still shows the Google logo in the corner of the screen.

Yes. It’s good until September.

Google Earth has higher resolution than satellite view, I've also notice 19 satellite view refreshes and loads faster.
