Default Sounds near pedals after start up

2017 A4 Premium, quattro. After every start up, and about 200 yards of driving, I hear a clicking sound near the pedals, after that no other sounds. The vehicle drives fines after that, but that sound occurs after every startup drive cycle. Thanks for your help.

It happens between 25-28mph after startup, it is normal.

We need an FAQ page.

All good. But yeah, it's totally weird the first time you feel it.

I agree. And the click reduces in intensity as the miles pile on.

It's the ABS system doing a self-check. It's checking pump pressure and briefly pulsing the solenoids. If there is anything out of spec, you'll get a warning and ABS functionality will be reduced. (Normal, unassisted braking is not affected.)

Finally I have a solid answer. I knew it was normal but had no idea why.

Just got my A4 and this one of the first questions I had! I figured it was routine, since it was always two clicks, at about the same place leaving my house... They sounded like solenoids, just had no idea for what. Thanks!
