I am not sure if taillights are different inside or only in wires from BCD.
Different from inside, confirmed. The PCB boards are not the same, all LEDs need to be changed too as they are RED not AMBER. It's not simple as adding a wire.

Anyways, if you find a possible solution somewhere, I can experiment on your behalf with my already broken right tail light. I'll be glad to help as you provided the schematics.

About LEDs it is clear.
What exactly difference in PCB boards?

The brake and the turn signal are interconnected inside the PCB for NAR, also arrangement of the connectors is different. I can provide pictures of the inner tail light PCBs.

I also saw the advert of the Polish guys. I think they use a heat gun to open the tail light very carefully, then just replace the LEDs for the turn signals. There are no differences between the inner (trunk lid) lights, except very small plastic which I removed easily on the connector. However, for the outer lights, you have one more wire, which is completely missing on the US version.

Here are some pics of the PCD boards of the inner light (which has no wires difference):

Here's the connector of the outer tail, which is missing one wire in the US version. I don't have a broken EU light for comparison.

Hope I have found solution for making US tail lights works as EU ones (not tested yet):
Agry to wiring diagram you need (attached in my post below in this thread):
1. extract pin 10 from black connector BCM2 (8W0907064C) and isolate it.
2. replace pin 4 to pin 5 on left and right tail light (black connector)
3. add additional wire from pin 1 BCM2 black connector to pin 4 of right tail light
4. add additional wire from pin 2 BCM2 brown connector to pin 4 of left tail light
5. upload EU parametrisation using VCP - that's all

Nice, let us know when you test it. Also the EU parameters will be helpful for people like me, without VCP but with OBD11.

It is imposiblle via VCDS, only VCP and parametrisation (not coding)
