Transmission Leaking
 
I just got my car back from the dealer. I've got almost 40k miles on my 2017 and they said there is seepage around the transmission housing and I should bring it back in at around 45k to see if it's leaking to get it fixed under warranty. Anyone else had this?

31k no problem here, I would get another dealer opinion on it before 45k.

Why wouldn't they just fix it now? why wait another 5k miles?

They said seepage is not covered under warranty but once it leaks then it's covered. They think it's the gasket so they are hoping it leaked in another 5k.
