Picked up my 'new' A4 2017 car on Friday - a 1.4TFSI

How do I switch off the loud beep telling me that there is a car park upcoming - have tried without success!

I have a similar question. When I pull into my garage I'm very close to the wall on one side, my motorcycles on the other, and a dog gate at the front. My car goes nuts with the beeping! My brother has a VW Jetta and said there's a switch/button he can hit to turn the beeping off. Is that the case on the A4? I have a 2018. Thanks!

All you should need to do is press the Park Assist button below the climate control.

Is that what the question is? I thought the British has some type of warning about a parking lot coming up.

I'm now at the point where I can just ignore all the beeping as I maneuver into my garage. I could push the button, but I'm busy driving, and I don't think about it in advance.

I think the new BMW can be programmed with regular parking locations (via GPS) where it can be disabled.

I think there are also options in the MMI about automatic activation of the parking sensors...
