If your saying the AudiCare pre paid service in this case the 30k service, can not be used for the 45k service. Then I say use it at the potential risk of loosing something you've already paid for.

okay.

When you purchased AudiCare you probably bought the 20k, 30k, and 40K service?

How much did you purchase all this for?

My AudiCare covers up to the 50,000K service. I think the coverages were changed in 2017.

It retails for US $999 for the B9. I bought mine when I brought my car in for the 20K service for less than that. The dealer then used the AudiCare to cover the 20K service cost.

Dave is correct, it includes the 50k service.
I just had new tires installed at Costco and the next day Audi did the 40k service plus a wheel alignment (at my request).

Hyper, if you don't want to hang out at the dealer, you can usually get a loaner and take care of your errands. I asked for a Q5 loaner during my 40k service, as it was on my wife's new car short list. The next day, we ordered a new Q5.

Any chance you can list the items they done for the 40K service? I was weighing the Audi Care and was wondering if it worth it.

I found this online which might help you determine if its worth it: https://www.audiusa.com/content/dam/...ges_022317.pdf

That being said, my dad, for some reason or other, did not get Audicare on his A4 and just had the 20k service done. He said it cost him $536. I guess you have to determine if its worth spending the $999 it cost now(I believe I paid $799) for the amount of time you will be driving it. Also, IIRC, getting Audicare bumped my residual one point as well. So it basically paid for itself.

Thanks, Hypers4! I am aware of the list on Audi site. I am curious to see the actual work dealers done for B9 A4. The reason I am looking into it is regard to 40k transmission fluid. My service adviser say they don't do transmission oil change for B9 A4. He claims it is not needed thus not included for B9 A4. I know there is some here said it's included and their dealer did for them. I am wondering if @ lowjdml got that donr from his dealer.

I guess Im confused. You mean what dealers have actually done to other members cars at those intervals, or if they did anything above and beyond the standard outline(That I linked above)?

I would go and get a loaner. My Audi dealer is right near my nearest Costco and Trader Joe’s, so having the loaner to get me to those places and stock up on stuff passes the time. Also, you can make sure the dealer checks for any software updates, recalls, TSB’s and such; that alone could be worth the trip. If you allow them to (I do) the dealer usually does a decent exterior/interior wash and vacuum, nice in the middle of winter.A few years ago I took my friend’s Subaru Forester in for the 30K service and it was over $500.Nothing is cheap these days.
