Needle sweep is worthless on the virtual cockpit. I thought it would be cool if it happened when you turned the engine on, not sure the purpose since it only does it when you turn the ignition on. When do you turn the ignition on without turning over the engine? That is all

Mine work flawlessly as well - and they dim for oncoming cars faster than I could ever do it manually!

Weird. I didn't see a switch "actually do not blind people" in the MMI. There's just an on/off switch. It's not like there's a threshold setting - there shouldn't be a threshold setting.
Selfishly, worse than blinding others, it doesn't turn on the high beams where it should, or could. That includes poorly lit "remote suburban" roads like where I live (deer, wild pigs, cougars, pumas). So since I need to turn on the high beams manually anyway, I turned the whole gadget off.

Mine works flawlessly. Keep in mind it won't turn on the high beams until you hit 25 MPH.

Heads up, watch your key battery life after doing this...
Removing the range limitation will result in the key burning through battery life much more quickly than normal. Also, you're at greater risk of having your key spoofed.

Do you have any info to back this up? How would increasing the range of the keyfob cause the battery to drain faster (assuming I don’t always lock/unlock the car at max distance)? Also how does increasing this range increase the risk of spoofing?

Is it recommended to reset to original coding before taking your cars in for service/troubleshoot an issue under warranty?
I only have auto high-beam and lane keep asssit activated through OBD11.
