Default Where are the official mpg and 0-60 specs?

I'm scanning through the Audi website and not seeing anything more than a very general reading of 25/33 mpg for all models and an above 6 second 0-60 rating. In the past, Audi has always broken down each model with different specs. FWD vs. Quattro models always had different numbers. Are they out there somewhere for the B9? Very curious to see if the lighter FWD has the better numbers or not.

The Quattro 2.0T is officially 5.8 seconds (my test has been a few tenths faster) so yes Quattro is faster, AWD typically is.

quattro 0-60 is 5.7 seconds, 24/31/27 MPG
FWD 0-60 is 6.1 seconds, 25/33/28 MPG

The lighter weight of the FWD is offset by the fact that during a launch you are getting wheel spin, so the quattro will always win.

Absolutely. Had the opportunity to do the launch control program with both and even though the quattro gave a little spin, it was nothing like the FWD. Wonder why VW even includes in on the FWD models.

But I ended up getting the FWD this time around, which sounds asinine, i know.. But the improvements they made with the FWD and ditching that CVT are insane. Somehow they managed to eliminate torque steer, and reduce understeer. MY FWD B9 seems to handle a corner just as well as my quattro b8.5.

Now I am not very knowledgeable so maybe one of you all might know.. Does anyone out there know how audi has achieved some of this with the FWD? A car enthusiast buddy of mine mentioned the car probably brakes/powers each front tire a bit differently depending on the turn.

jimmyja4,
can you explain this a bit more please? Do the new A4's have the same thing that the current S4's have?

Had the opportunity to do the launch control program with both

Yes, perks of the DSG, which will be interesting because the new S4 doesn't get it, does that mean no launch control? I've used the launch control on my B9, it works flawlessly.

Remember that LC was limited to 10 on the S6 C7, no more after that, no reports yet from a B9 owner to get more than that...
