Just wanted to let everyone else know so they don't have to go through the same thing I did. I tried replacing my wiper blades today and spent hours trying to find ones that worked. Called the dealer and they claimed that I had to use Audi specific ones, which was BS. Everywhere else can't seem to look up what size blades the car cause it's not in their database. I measured the blades myself and found out they were 24-inch on the driver and 20-inch on the passenger side.

I went and bought the Bosch Icons 24OE and 20OE from Walmart, BUT they don't fit! Here is the model info listed on the box: Returned them and went to AutoZone and bought the same ones with different model numbers and their's come with an adapter. I tried the #4 adapter and it fits! The model that fits are:So people who are buying wiper blades, check to make sure that the adapters are included as Walmart and some other stores may sell a cheaper version without adapters. If you're buying Bosch Icons, make sure they are the model I listed above.

These Tricos also fit fine and seem to be up to the job of clearing Seattle's liquid sunshine off in one swipe.

Has anyone else replaced their stock wipers yet and can recommend good options for replacement?

Right now i am leaning to go with Trico based on reviews but wanted to see about other known options.

I didn't expect to find it difficult to find new wiper blades in the UK, but it wasn't straight forward.


Final got Bosch Aerotwin A298S at about half the price of the main dealer. They fit certain A4, A5, A7, Q3 and Q5 models.

Based on the OEM part # from there, I ordered these from ECSTuning the other day.

I ordered the Trico from Amazon which showed will fit "my car". They did not come with the adapter.

I got the same ones at autozone and they did. I had the counter guy open them for me before buying to make sure.
