Wiring diagram for centre console & cup holder lighting
Greetings,
i am on my next project for MY16 audi. And its getting the "ambient" lights installed if possible.
I require assistance in reading the wiring diagram. So far i installed plenty of other electrical things but the J519 module keeps bugging me.
1.PICTURE: wiring diagram for centre console background lights (on the sides) left and right.
Looking at L193 and L194. I do not understand what exactly they are, separate connectors perhaps? And then there's multiple confusing green+yellow wires leading me nowhere.
Could anyone help me or give me some guidance on this diagram?
The same thing goes for the illuminated cup holder diagram, same confusing wires. So if i get to understand the above one, im sure ill be able to do the cup holder lights.
Thanks in advance!

Im not an electrical engineer.....but from the wiring diagram provided L193 and L194 each have their own connectors. There is only one green/yellow wire(jumper wire) and that is how led (L193) is getting power. J519 is providing power to LIN bus, LIN bus provides power to L194, and L194 provides power to L193 (T4er/2LIn and T4er/3LIn are connected internally in L194).

I used normal wires with a combination of Audi/VW/Skoda/Seat contact pins (from ebay) and arduino female wires(from ebay which to my surprise fit perfectly in the light connectors). Basic electrical engineering skills are needed for solding and general work with wiring. So basically i had to "Craft" alternative wires to the OEM ones. Then i just connected the self crafted wire to the main control unit J519 (check the diagram for correct pin, previous posts explain the correct pin).

Ross-Tech has two nice video tutorials on how to read a wiring diagram. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKnTjuSmwaE

hi did you also install the door lighting? I want to retrofit the extended lighting to my car as well. I am aware that I need to run 2 wires to my BCM for the LIN connection but I need more info on the wiring from the BCM to the lights in the doors. I was thinking of branching off the LIN wire to the doors and centre console but I'm not sure if this is correct.
