Sorry to hear that. My wife and I will be passing through Houston- Dallas-Austin toward the end of the month. I remember when we had hurricane Sandy and what a mess it was but still nothing like whatHouston went through.
As for my mechanic, I'm very lucky because a family member is a sale manager at an Audi dealership and one of their mechanics does work on the side. We've got a 2006 A4 avant along with the convertible that need work periodically so this comes in handy.
Try finding one of those guys locally. Good luck.
