A4 B6 1.8T cranks but no start
All 4 cylinders have spark, removed fuel rail and placed over a paper, turned the key on and all injectors sprayed out fuel in sequence. the RPM needle bounces form 0 to about 100 rpm when cranking.
What could be the problem for not starting?

Cranks but does not start
Two things to check after you answer two questions. What were the circumstances prior to no start condition...I.e. it was running fine, died and would not start again? Was there any unusual operations done or happening prior to the failure to start issue?
My first thought was the immobilizer mode between the key and ECU was not working. Being as you have it apart, may want to run compression test, as you already verified spark and fuel..

Spark, fuel, air, timing.
A little more history would be helpful such as when and how the problem started, what mods you have made to the car or engine, how many miles on the car, any other problems existed before the car wouldn't start?
1. Have you checked for codes?
2. When was the last time you changed or even checked the timing belt?
