Default Airbag Seat Connector

Hi,
I have a 2005 A4 Quattro Cabriolet that keeps lighting the airbag light on the console. I can clean the connector under the seats and clear the light for a few months, but it always comes back. I have seen several post on how to bypass the connectors with crimp connectors.
The problem i have is on the car side of the plug there are 3 wires. Brown, white and green.
On the seat side, 2 wires. Black and blue.
The only wiring diagrams i can find only have the car side identified, and brown is supposed to be a ground.
Does anyone know the correct way to bypass the connector in this configuration?
Thanks

Finally found the actual TSB, and it's a little iffy to me.
It says cut the 1st wire off each side of the plug and crimp together, the do the same with the second wires.
Then a note says.

Repeat steps 4, 5, and 6, for ground wire 3, crimping one pair of wires at a time until the connector is
removed.
Note: On some vehicles, the ground wire for the airbag is run outside and along the connector. If this is
the case, do not cut the ground wire.
9. Discard connector.
10. Twist repaired wires (Figure 5).

I guess you just leave the ground wire in the plug and tuck it away in the floor????
