Took the week off from work so I could take my time on my 06 3.0. Everything went well, except was surprised that my front pulley / harmonic balancer was bad and I needed to get a new one. The only thing I didn't do was lock the crank with the locking pin. The opening in the block is blocked by some sort of coolant hose thingie and seemed to be too much trouble to remove. I figured if was slightly out of time, I could always time it later anyway, one of the few advantages of the 3.0.
