Heat into UK driver side foot well
I'm hoping someone out there can shed some light on this before I give up and go to a stealer to repair?
I have a problem with my audi a3 cabriolet 2006 where heat is continually coming out from the drivers side foot well.
I've had this scanned using VCDS tool and I have no errors.
* Essentially, regardless of how i have the air con, lots of hot aid comes out from above the actual driver side foot well vent. The vent does respond, with hot and cold but there is hot air escaping from above this all the time.
* On another forum someone mentioned that it might be ducting that has come loose? but I can't see that unless I rip the whole centre console out.
I'm hoping this forum could give me some direction on resolving this, or confirming that it's a actuator issue, and something else I need to investigate.
