I haven't read the rest of this thread but I fixed mine (which was almost completely detached) by cleaning off the old glue (from the glass) and then using cold weld. It's been fine ever since and that was 3-4 years ago. Mines a 2002 so well out of any warranty period.

Rear window rebond only GE iron silicone
Here is a video showing basic rear window repair similar to what I did only I used GE Iron silicone glass adhesive
