Default Puff of White smoke, After ideling! ??? 1.8T

Hey guys!, My 2005 Audi A4 Quatro 1-8t, @113000 Miles, Has started belching white smoke on take off, After sitting at idel for a minute or so!, & Only dose so after warming up!.
I've been addvised that it is my turbo by a garage!,
But I'm thinking!, it is a stem seal issue,
So i have it booked elsewhere for a compresionn test!.
Anyone got any addvice on this!, & £Cost in the UK, Be appreciated!, Cheers!!😉👍🏻

I had this same issue on my b5.5 Passat . Just one hot day I was sitting inside with the ac on and about 20 minutes later it looked like my head gasket had gone. Shut it off and later it did not happen. Over a few months it happened regularly after 20 minutes. Then to a point where when waiting at a drive through for food, I knew by the 10 minute mark I’d have to leave haha. Anyways, yes it was the turbo. I too checked everything a normal person would because in the beggining it was very strange.
