Roof not working after battery replacement
I'm new to this forum, just wanted to seek some help and advise
I recently changed my battery after my old one went flat. After I replaced it I noticed that my roof light will stay on a little bit longer than normal then switch off when I turn my car on. I didn't think anything of it and thought everything was fine.
My roof worked perfectly fine before I changed my battery, but now that I've changed it my roof won't go down. My roof will open slightly and all my windows will go down half way but that's about it, nothing else. It will then go back to normal when I press the roof button down, so all the windows will come back up and the roof will close.
Any help will be much appreciated trying to figure out why the roof won't go down.
Thanks

It flashes for a bit then goes off. The roof closes by itself but the problem is it won’t go down. It only opens a little but then closes automatically. Thanks for the reply

Sounds like it is time to find someone with a vagcom and find out what, if any codes are stored.
If the yellow light is flashing 10 times and then goes off, that is a message that there is a fault in the roof system somewhere

Okay thanks for the help, I’ll get someone to check where the fault is Cheers

Roof not working...try manual reset w/windows down!

Ishi, did you try this manual reset procedure (it is also documented in your owners manual)...just make sure windows are all down...
