You don't specifically mention if you have quattro or not, or whether you have the CVT. Either way some more information is needed.
Where do you think the scraping-like sound is coming from? Do you hear it in tiptronic mode and in the "automatic" mode? Does the noise seem to follow gearing or wheel speed?
Have you been under the car and looked.
Noise could be transmission, CV joints, or possibly a bad turbocharger.
