Took out cluster Now no start
2008 Convertible. 2.0T.
I took out the cluster to get a dead bug out. Put everything together and now car starts then dies.
Help please.

The immobiliser triggered. The car key and ECU is coded together. The security module is inside the cluster, without it the ECU will send off the immobiliser therefore your car will not start without it. If you are not replacing the cluster just reconnect it and turn the key car will start properly again.
