Default Wet CCM. Question about model numbers

I've been having problems with my windows, interior lights, key fob, etc. After Googling a bunch, I narrowed the problem down to a potentially bad CCM. Even though my carpets weren't even damp, when I pulled up the driver's side (USA) carpet, there were three or so inches of standing water in the well. I pulled out the CCM and there is some corrosion on the connectors both on the harness and on the CCM. My CCM is model number 8H0 959 433 J. Does anyone know (I've looked and cannot find a definitive answer) if the replacement model has to match exactly? I've found several online, but the last character is different. For example, one is a 8H0 959 433 BT. Also...if anyone has done this, did you have to replace the connectors on the harness?

Thanks tons in advance. You'd think Audi would step up and replace these given the design flaw that lead to this widespread failure.
